Sauna researcher / scientist - Definition
- a person who is studying or has expert knowledge on Sauna and one or more of the natural or physical sciences.
It is encouraging that a growing body of evidence supports the ancient wisdom about the role of saunas, the whole-body thermotherapy, as an important health-promoting activity.
The existing evidence suggests the positive effect of sauna on many diseases of modern time and we may also say that we more and more understand the biological reasons for them.
But there are still many questions to be answered. Especially in the field of protocols and potential use for medical treatment and other more profound purposes;
- What is more effective and efficient: higher temperature and shorter time or lower temperature and longer time?
- What is the optimal number of intervals?
- Dry-type or infrared type for certain pathology?
... are just a few from many questions waiting for the answer.
